Larry Does Catch the Wind!

Larry is from cold country up in Sydney, Nova Scotia but that has not stopped him from racing about 15 times a year! And when he races he races hard! Since acquiring his Westwind in 1989 Larry has captured the winning position on over 50 times.

He has won the Royal Cape Breton Yacht Club Regatta 4 times, the Bras d'Or Yacht Club (Baddeck) 3 times (including Bell Trophy), the Spanish Bay Yacht Club  Wed. Night Series 3 times, the Dobson Yacht Club Sydney 2002 with 2 firsts in Class B and the Bacardi Cup (East Bay C-class) in 1993.

This picture was taken during the Royal Cape Breton YC Regatta in 2001 but Larry and his crew won it again in last Saturday's Race - 1st overall of about 15 boats!!!
