Falcon 16 Section

 Designer: George W. McVay

The first boat designed for fiberglass was called the "Falcon" designed by the Late G. W. McVay Sr. in 1954. While at American Boat Company McVay worked as an accountant. Apparently McVay produced some of the boats early on in his career.

It is likely that other models quickly overtook the Falcon design and was replaced by one of the several other 16 footers produced during that time.

McVay apparently took the design with him when he left Paceship and many subsequent Falcon were manufactured under McVay Yachts name
