Serendipity's first sail, the day after the launch (after five or six years of being on the beach, and her restoration the previous year).
In late August we took Serendipity on a 10 day cruise north out of Traverse City. You can see all her 'goodies' on display, including the wooden window frames, the fore hatch insert we made, and the three coats of Interlux Top Lac!
We also restored the interior, and created a laminated hardwood beam to support the mast.

There she is anchored out at Marion Island in West Grand Traverse Bay, Michigan. With her board up, she can safely anchor in 2 1/2 feet of water.
